The dahlias have been a little late this year, but they most certainly have not disappointed…
Kylie, Kendell, and Cael enjoyed the bounty from the Saturday Farmer’s Market. It just happens to be conveniently located so they could sit and munch on apples, corn (yep and it was good), and free cookies while their mother “browsed” in “Material Girls” …
We were finally able to get the fam together to commemorate Miss Kendell’s day of birth! We wanted our guests to feel welcome and secure, so we had them all sit on fancy plastic chairs of the highest quality in the backyard and now we know why it is advisable to not lean back on these sweet seats—sorry about the collapsing/shattering/breaking-in-slow-motion chair there, Uncle Mike…
The jr. high set started up (Morgan and her cute friend, Taylor) for the year with the new dress code of stripes only…
Can you just feel the excitement of the almost-done-with-jr.-high boy? This shot could be entitled “that’s fine if you are in the car, but I HAVE to get a picture of you on your first day”—quality photography is what we’re all about…

Hey 11 year old Kendell, Happy, Happy late birthday to you. We haven't forgotten about you, just very slow !! It looks like you had a great day. I'm so glad to hear that Zek is alive and well and it looks like you have a new car with a very large Curtis in the front. Cute grown up cousins we miss you guys!
Fabulous, fabulous stripes!

Kirsten, Have you thought about entering some Dahlias in the State Fair? That is always one of my fav. exhibits.
